If you are a writer, you understand that this job is not easy. You have to produce ideas all the time especially if writing is your job. When you were young, you were probably one of those students who enjoyed writing different essay examples and all those college essay examples because it's another opportunity to write. Now that you have grown up as a person and as a writer, I am sure that you already know some rules in the writing industry.

Here are some important things to remember as you continue to write your way to success. Never romanticize writing or think that you are a lot better than most people just because you are a writer. Having an indulgent attitude is one of the things that you should never have. Be responsible. If you have commitments, do them on time. Do not cram nor procrastinate. Some writers say that they are able to work well under pressure but as for me, I work better when I am not in a rush. I am able to edit my articles with enough time.

You should take care of your job and be the most responsible writer that you know. Impress your clients, impress your bosses. Your goal is to be a successful writer. That means you do not need to just focus on one task or path. Have a back-up plan. Learn to do things that are outside your comfort zone. If one path that you are taking is blocked, you are ready to face and treat a new one.
